Biography
Uraine Roelofs is a proud Kokatha/Mirning woman originally from Ceduna SA, currently residing in Logan City, Queensland with a background in performing arts. Through her creative show ‘Nana Magic’, Uraine has been able to merge her many talents into a one-woman performance that is highly interactive and informative about First Nation Australian Culture and Language.
BIO:
Uraine Roelofs is a proud First Nations woman of Kokatha, and Mirning descent of South Australia who also has Greek heritage. She is an emerging producer/writer with a strong theatrical background in writing/ directing and performing her own works and collaborating with many Indigenous community theatre projects. She brings her stage adaption of Nana Magic to the digital screen with the recent launch of her Nana Magic You tube channel. Nana Magic Children’s Show tells of stories of important messages protecting, nurturing and looking after our country, native wildlife, animals, water and each other.
Uraine is currently writing Nana Magic into a delightful children’s television series for broadcast for young Indigenous audiences.
